More woodsy love..
Even though I love to post my un-pro shots right away, I usually can’t help but do a second post with the amazing pictures that come in from the many talented photographers I get to work with- so obviously when Pam Scott sent me a link to her blog with the photos of Kim & Gabe I was floored- the colors came out amazingly vibrant! Gabe’s boutonniere of golden james storie orchids and coral alstroemeria. Kim’s bouquet of mixed gerberas, … Read more
Summertime in the Woods
Kim and Gabe are a genuinely lovely, lovely couple- desiring only the brightest and most festive that summer has to offer, we went straight for the gerberas! All you see is neon amid a lush forest setting at the Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona. The contrast was awesome, brought together by a touch of chocolate brown… Going in reverse order for this week’s post, we’ll start with the fun cake! Flowers would only add to the chaos of that cool … Read more

Love in Ocean Beach
Jayanti & Zach were so happy to have their wedding on the bluffs in San Diego. Planning the whole thing from their snowy home in the midwest, they chose a sweet color combo of pinks, greens, and whites with a Stargazer Lily motif to match their fave flower of choice. Jayanti carried pink Sorbonne Lilies and white dendrobiums in white hydrangea with a cuff of pink statice & her bridesmaids carried green cymbidiums in white hydrangea with alstroemeria- the pink … Read more
Red and Red
I just couldn’t resist- the red dahlias are so perfect and these adorable “Pupita” spray roses were calling my name again. Maybe I should have saved the combo for Valentine’s Day, but honestly pink and red make such a pretty pair any time of year. This was the perfect bouquet to cheer up a friend. And of course, holiday season party planning is a’rollin’. The latest centerpiece combo- red roses grown right across the way in Baja, Cali, in a … Read more
Blushing Baja, Ca
Sometimes, pink is the only color I can imagine looking this pretty. Don’t get me wrong, I love every color out there and in every combination- but this soft combo of pink cymbidiums, pale green hydrangea, and white dahlias is sweet and fresh. Plus, the orchids came in an especially yummy mauve color, spotted with deeper reddish purple hues, adding just a touch of exotic flavor for the wedding in Baja last weekend. Best part was the bride is in … Read more
Oh Hunny-Bunny!!
Happy and Joyous Easter! I admit I am a sucker for all signs of Spring- lambs, chicks, bunnies, pink and cheery anything. Yes, guilty as charged- I am a girl through and through. Still, there’s two ways to do pink- sweet and sassy. Two recent florals demonstrate just so- On the left, with the pale pink satin and mini white statice flowers, those King Kong roses and coral mokara orchids are like your strawberry Bonne Bell. Whereas on the right, … Read more
